Who we are
Welcome to the Metal Shop
Born out of necessity in a farming community where everything breaks eventually. We try to preserve what you have and make it whole again.
This has exposed us to more than our fair share of weird and wonderful assignments. While we manufacture some items on an irregular basis we prefer to design and build once off items or projects.
Our interests are reflected in the items we produce, namely shooting plates and reactive targets. We source and test suitable steels to build our products to ensure they stand up to the intended use. Items manufactured are meant to be used and used hard.
Our products are used in training environments which would indicate that they can take some abuse.
We don’t do cheap, quick or rush any project. If it takes a bit longer than discussed, be happy, we are giving your product the attention it deserves and it will function as expected.
All items are made by hand. While some of the profiles used may be laser cut, all fitting and finishing is done by hand.
Knives, tools and steel projects made, are all individual, and no two items no matter how similar, will ever be exactly the same. We are not CNC machines and are proud of it.
Every item we produce has its own character, infused by the person who made it. All our items will have our makers mark on it, this is your assurance of its authenticity and origin.
